Pls Tech expert i need help, i tried to install software widows genuine advantage within my windows xp sp3 when an info displayed within my windows screen but failed and after that when i open my computer again it displayed black colour and in the bottom right corner warns 'You are a avictim of software counterfeiting' 'This copy of windows does not pass the...... validation' like that...and give me an option to resolve but i can't. It always stays there. Pls suggest me wat to do. Can it be resolved if i restore to the earlier or if there's any way to delete any files or which files relating to it so that i could get rid of it ? Kindly help me.
so u should not do that,, frist insert the cd or dvd, shut down ur pc power on now,, pc will auto detects that new boots os is present and it will starting run as ur command of ur installation, if it dosent happends autometacly insert cd start computer press F1, F2 for manual installation,, i think u need a expert,,,,
Activate windows, there are many activators available on torrents. If you can't find such then change windows product key. Search for genuine product key for winxp sp3

Maya is latest version for linux mint, i.e Linux mint 13.. And for drivers things it will work out of box.. I have no problem searching for drivers etc.. all my devices are supported.. Also there are many propertiery drivers like nvidia's at software centre...

Try this... get an installation cd of any linux distro.. I recommend Ubuntu 12.04 (the one am using) and live boot it... you will get a fairer idea what works and wat dosn't
